Learn to SCUBA dive in with us! Our classes are fun & easy. SCUBA classes include 4 open water dives in the beautiful Keys!, SCUBA equipment use throughout the class, course books or e-learning and access to the 13-foot deep pool in Naples.

Since 1993, our programs stress safety and being properly equipped.
There are no short cuts to quality instruction and diving equipment systems.
Our goal is quality customer service. We have the most experienced instructors using the best educational materials and diving equipment in our training programs.
Our SCUBA certification agency does two things for your training- they print the books that you use for the training, and they make the plastic cards that we issue. All training is done by our certified SCUBA instructors.
OPEN WATER Beginner Level Class
1. Course Equipment and Counseling
This first step toward entering this new adventure is learning the basic functions of your total diving equipment systems. SCUBAdventures offers the most modern, up to date SCUBA instruction and equipment. Your professional instructor/equipment counselor can help you choose the right equipment. Your instructor will familiarize you with the course structure and requirements, making sure you enjoy all learning phases of become a competent safe scuba diver.
2. HOME or ONLINE Training
Home or online training is required followed by two classroom sessions with your instructor. Classroom training includes review which prepares you for your sub aquatic experience! To dive safely-there is much to learn and time will pass quickly. Soon you will be living the adventure you now only dream about.
3. POOL Training
Your pool training with SCUBA allows you to adapt technically and psychologically to the underwater world. Three pool training sessions at the huge, 13 foot deep pool will get you safely adapted to the equipment and necessary skills to become a safe diver.
4. OPEN WATER TRAINING
All phases of your training, dive planning and preparation will fall into place as you experience your final open water dives in KEY LARGO’S MARINE SANCTUARY! Each boat dive will make you more comfortable with the marine environment and your diving equipment. FOUR OPEN WATER SCUBA DIVES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE YOUR SCUBA CERTIFICATION. Most dives are scheduled over a weekend.

After completing the Advanced Adventure training program and having logged 12 dives (including the specialty dives) you will be awarded the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver card ( level 1) which will allow you to safely join the many exciting , fun and challenging dives available either locally or around the world!
Upon competing 24 total dives you are qualified to apply for the Advanced Diver Level 2 certification card.
Rescue Diver Course
This class teaches skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. These rescue skills are essential for avid divers, because someday, maybe sooner than you think, you will need them.

First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification Course
Our hands-on CPR and First Aid training courses are designed to help prepare first responders in the proper administration of first aid until more advanced help can be obtained. Students will apply their knowledge and skills in first aid response by observing and reacting to simulated real-life emergencies. This course meets all healthcare industry requirements
Adult CPR , AED & First Aid Certification: The hands-on training incorporates lifesaving techniques such as adult CPR skills, assisting choking victims, rescue breathing techniques, and in the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Includes training in administering first aid to bleeding wounds and bone injuries, correctly handling various chemical burns, splinting, assessing and responding to shock, treating poisoning, heat-related emergencies and many other common incidents. This training could mean the difference between life and death, rapid versus prolonged recovery and temporary versus permanent disability.
This course is excellent for divers and non-divers and can be used for the CPR certification requirement for the Rescue course and Divemaster classes.

Stress & Rescue Certification Class
Do you know what to do in an emergency?

The Stress and Rescue Course is best described as challenging and rewarding. In this course you will learn invaluable skills and techniques that will help you prevent diving problems and if necessary, manage dive emergencies. The Stress & Rescue course is one which builds on your diving confidence, training you in self-rescue as well as assisting others in need. You will gain a massive increase and a heightened awareness of spotting potential problems and dealing with them before they become a problem. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, adn at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
Stress is a major contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents.
Through this course you will learn accident prevention, as well as how to handle problem situations if they occur.
The program is about avoiding, recognizing and solving problems in the surface and underwater.

- Conditions that Complicate Rescues
- Learn the same search and recovery techniques that are taught to first responders (Fire-Police) using reels and lift bags. This class includes pool sessions where unconscious diver and panicked diver control techniques both underwater and on the surface are taught. Additionally out of air drills, air sharing drills, entanglement drills, equipment malfunction drills and search techniques in blacked out masks are conducted. There is also a practical scenario exercise off the beach in Naples.
*Course is three sessions in which you will participate in academic and in-water sessions in the pool and in the open water.

Open Water diver

Oxygen Provider Certification Course
Administering Oxygen is one of the most important aspects of first aid for decompression sickness, lung overexpansion injuries, and also for many non diving issues such as strokes. However, statistics say that less than 50% of Injured divers actually are administered Oxygen, and those that do get Oxygen don’t get near 100% concentrations due to improper administration. This class teaches you how to correctly and safely administer 100% Oxygen to an injured diver.
Course Content:
- Assembly, safe use, and care of Oxygen systems.
- How to administer Oxygen using demand valve and mask, constant-flow/non-rebreather masks, and pocket mask with an Oxygen inlet
- Review the signs and symptoms of dive injuries, as well as basic emergency management.
- A great class to take heading into your Rescue class, or in conjunction with your First Aid/CPR AED class.
- Home study plus a classroom session with skills practice.
